With good reason. When you have a lot of cats or kittens around, you will tend to notice patterns.
Cats must be able to see colors. If given the chance, they will hang out with other cats that are the same color of themselves.
I have a litter of eight right now; the two orange are always together, the two calicos, the two black ones and the two gray tabbies. They play together, but they settle at the end of the day, with their own colors.

A grey tabby named Pepperjack, second oldest. Came with Nacho an all orange fat tabby. 3rd oldest.
An all black cat, Binks and his brother Meunster and grey and black stripped cat. 4th oldest together.
Then I have Brie a grey and black stripped cat with calico patches on her face and at the end of her back before her tail. And her brother Colby grey and black stripped with all four white paws. 5th oldest.

All of my cats get a lone very well. They all know which one is in ,charge and will all sleep in a huddle. Cats are not racist. What is wrong with you damn people? I laughed so hard at this because I couldn't believe how effing stupid you were to even post this.
